Aurangabad is a city in the state of Maharashtra. It is the headquarters and principal city of the district of the same name. This trend is likely to fuel further rail infrastructure development in the future. In terms of road connectivity, the development of a Nagpur-Aurangabad-Mumbai expressway is in progress.
