This will allow you to learn the basics of proper labeling and weighing. While you’re studying for the exams, you can now work on your online bakery website. You have two options – create a site from scratch or use websites like eBay and Etsy to start an online store.
Another thing that you have to consider is the shipping since you’re dealing with perishable goods. Talk with the local post office and see if you can arrange for priority mail shipments. If you’re lucky, you can ship to different states in the US and even other countries. Decide on the items that you want to make and purchase the supplies. Take photos of the goods that you want to sell and upload it to your store. Don’t forget to provide for descriptions as well. Now, you have to prepare the right amount so that you will not be wasting your supplies and effort. When you’ve posted all the photos of the products you’re selling, you can now bake per order.
