Pashan is one of the rapidly developing suburb area situated in the western parts of Pune. It is also one of the oldest locality of Pune. Khadki, Shivajinagar, Pune Junction, and Dapodi are its nearby railway stations. However, Shivajinagar is the nearest railway station to Pashan, located about 6 km via NDA Pashan Road/Pashan Road and Ganeshkhind Road.
Sutarwadi, Abhinav College and Pashan village are the major stops for PMPML and Rainbow BRTS buses that cater to passengers. Direct buses are available from these stops to Deccan Gymkhana, Market Yard and Pune Station.
Pashan Road, Sutarwadi Road, Sus Road, Baner-Pashan Link Road are the major internal roads which further has its access with NH 48.
